Refund Policy

Every account gets a permanent free plan, plus a 14-day Pro trial to try the full experience - you can use Myto free before paying anything. This policy covers what happens once you've subscribed.

1. Try before you pay

Every new account gets a 14-day free trial of Myto Pro, no credit card required. If you don't subscribe, your account moves to Myto's permanent free plan rather than losing access. Either way, you won't be charged anything unless you choose to subscribe, so there's nothing to refund until you've actually paid us.

2. Our payment processor

Subscription payments are handled by Paddle.com, who acts as the merchant of record for all purchases. Paddle appears on your card or bank statement, issues your receipts, and processes refunds on our behalf. You can also reach Paddle directly about a charge atpaddle.com/help.

3. Cancelling your subscription

You can cancel anytime from Myto's Settings page, which opens Paddle's billing portal. Cancelling stops future renewals, but the current billing period you've already paid for runs to its end - you keep full access until then, and we don't prorate or refund the unused portion of that period.

4. When we will issue a refund

We'll refund you in full if:

  • You were charged more than once for the same billing period (a duplicate or double charge).
  • A bug or outage on our end meant you couldn't use Myto for a meaningful part of a billing period you were charged for.
  • You were charged after cancelling, or after a renewal you didn't intend to make.

Outside of these cases, we don't offer refunds for unused time on a subscription you voluntarily kept active, or for simply changing your mind after paying - the 14-day free trial (and Myto's free plan afterward) exists precisely so you can decide before any money changes hands. We consider refund requests made within 14 days of a charge case by case, even outside the situations above; reach out and explain what happened.

5. How to request a refund

Email support@usemyto.com with the email address on your Myto account and, if you have it, the receipt from Paddle. We typically respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are issued back to your original payment method and can take 5-10 business days to appear, depending on your bank or card issuer.

6. Chargebacks

If you have a billing concern, please contact us first - we'd rather sort it out directly than have you file a chargeback with your bank, which takes longer and can result in your account being suspended while it's investigated.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Myto evolves. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or with a notice in the app. The "last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
